Location: 3 miles NW of SEQUIM, WA | Coordinates: 48°05′53″N 123°11
Sequim Valley Airport (W28) is a privately owned, public use airport and residential airpark located three miles northwest of sunny Sequim on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. Sequim is in the “rain shadow” of the Olympic Mountains and, because of its location, has an average annual rainfall of only seventeen inches. We are known as the “Blue Hole” of the Pacific Northwest and are VFR most of the year.
Our 9/27 lighted runway is 3,500′ x 40′. On days when there is wind it is generally directly out of the west.
We have a 24-hour self-service fuel system with above-ground fuel tank dispensing 100LL at $6.65 gallon. The “Fly Washington Passport Program” stamp is available in the office trailer.
Recently Dungeness Aircraft Service moved into the main hangar and will be serving as the airport’s FBO. In addition to aircraft maintenance, they offer flight instruction and aircraft rental.
