Sequim Valley Airport (W28) is a privately owned, open for public use airport and residential airpark located in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains, three miles northwest of sunny Sequim, Washington. Consequently, Sequim has an average annual rainfall of only seventeen inches giving the area the reputation of being the “Blue Hole” of the Pacific Northwest. This benefits the airport by providing conditions suitable for VFR approaches on most days of the year.
