Tie-downs:
Outside year round tie-downs are currently available. All Aircraft (No charge for less than 12 hours)
Grass tie-down: $10 night / $25. week / 50. month
Paved tie-down (2 spots): $12. night / $30. week / $60. month
T-Hangars:
All 20 T–Hangars at Sequim Valley Airport are on a 40-year lease that expires in 2037. There are currently no hangars available for rent but occasionally remaining time on hangar leases are for sale or rent by current tenants.
New Hangars For Rent (coming soon and accepting reservations now – First come, First serve):
We are planning to building four new individual “box style” hangars this fall or winter. These will be 32’x 44’ pole buildings. Two hangars will have a slightly wider door opening to accommodate aircraft such as a Cirrus which has a slightly larger wingspan. The hangars are designed for personal non-commercial use only.
Details of these buildings include:
• Pole Construction with metal siding and insulated metal roof
• Concrete floors with asphalt taxiway outside
• Roof insulation and gutters
• Sliding accordion type doors and man-door on the side of the building.
• LED lighting fixtures on ceiling, eight 110 AC outlets and individual PUD meters
• Located in the field north of the current T-hangars with asphalt taxiway to the hangar
These box hangars are primarily designed for aircraft. There will be more considerably more square footage for additional storage than traditional T-hangars that might allow room for a boat, RV and / or extra car in addition to an airplane.
If you wish to reserve one of these hangars; you will need to show commitment with a security deposit of $1500. This will be a security deposit that will be fully refunded if hangars are not completed by the Fall of 2026. We cannot change the design characteristics or size of the buildings at this time. The hangar deposit is non-refundable if the renter decides to back out, otherwise the deposit will be refunded at the start of the lease. Initial leases of 1 to 3 years are available with an approximate rent of $980. month per unit. You pay for electricity and you will have your own meter. This cost is determined by the current cost of steel, concrete, labor, property taxes and insurance. We are hoping to find ways to reduce costs during construction and if we are successful, the monthly rent might be slightly less.
The proposed start of construction and ground preparation will likely be in Fall of 2025 and building construction in the Spring of 2026 with occupancy shortly thereafter.
